M-1910 Condiment Can

The M-1910 Condiment Can

The Army Infantry Equipment Board of 1909 introduced a new way to carry coffee, sugar, and salt in one container. The main body of the container is split internally to make two compartments. The third compartment is inside one of the caps, which is closed by a tightly fitted lid. The condiment can was made of tinned iron, and is approximately 5 inches long. It was carried in the haversack along with the M-1916 bacon tin.
