This medal was issued to all soldiers, sailors and Marines who served during the war that were from the state of Delaware. It features an eagle above the medal with wings outstretched, the state seal of Delaware in the middle with text that says “World War Service – Delaware”. The reverse says “Awarded To ______ By Act Of The General Assembly Of The State Of Delaware 1919” with a serial number and all text surrounded by olive branches.
