WWI Connecticut Sate Service Medal

The Connecticut State Service Medal

The WWI State of Connecticut Service Medal was issued to all soldiers, sailors and Marines that served in World War One who resided in the state of Connecticut. The medal features Lady Liberty holding a flaming torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other. She stands next to an eagle who is perched on a couple arrows. The text says “World War 1917-1918”. The reverse has the Connecticut State crest and says “State Of Connecticut – For Service”.
