The Model 1904 Feed Bag
This feed bag replaced the Model 1885 feed bag. It is made of canvas with a leather circular bottom, leather vent and leather carrying strap that runs the entire length of the bag on both sides. They are marked “US QMC” for United States Quartermaster Corps. These were used through WWI though a new bag was developed in 1912.
